Bored of eco?/

I’m getting bored of everyone going on about being green, eco and sustainable within the fashion industry at the moment. It seems you can’t walk 5 minuets in london without being guilt tripped into “doing your part”.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not anti eco, I just cant help being a little cynical about the marketing advantages involved.
I’m more interested in how fascinated we as a society seem to be recently with our own destruction, and how we are using photography to sustain ourselves and our memories. Living in london we’re also constantly bombarded by images on a daily basis, the celebrity trying to sustain their career with PR stunts, and the Fashion House trying to sustain its profits with a new campaign and so on.
I’d love to shoot something in response to this idea for you.

I wholey and completely agree with you! its just a tad sickening aint it! So i’d love to lend my support in anyway shape or form, if this comes to life!

i just think the whole eco thing may just be a trend or perhaps an era when we briefly wanted to save the world. like when lennon was around. i’d like to see it kick off but i’m unsure. people are lazy
This is so true. And an interesting approach to a photography project responding to all the eco hype. Would love to see it!
