LCF MA Fashion Photography graduate Camilla Glorioso is crowd funding her first exhibition and she needs your help.
Raw to the Surface is a project that investigates new ways of displaying and perceiving the female body. It will involve various works devoted to the exploration of the limit between the inside and outside of the body, including a series of interactive and tactile pictures that the visitor will be able to touch and even modify during a one-night-performance.
Challenging the disconnection between visual material and personal involvement that Instagram and Snapchat have created, Raw to the Surface will offer the viewer time and power over the images.
The photographer turned curator will be collaborating with a series of artists to produce the three day event.
Camilla states, ‘I aim to provoke the viewer through an interactive happening to comprehend the beauty of non-digital, un-retouched bodies’
The exhibition runs from 1 December -3 December at 71a Gallery, 71 Leonard Street, London, EC2A 4QS
